我就迫不及待地和爸爸媽媽一起去游覽雞公山。我們走在鄉間的小道，道路兩旁是一片片金黃色的稻田，稻田可真美呀！一條條的水溝，縱橫交錯，圍著稻田。稻田中的小路蜿蜒曲折，把稻田分成一塊一塊。黃澄澄的稻穀，壓彎了枝桿。風一吹過，那些稻穀便隨風搖擺，像海洋里湧起的波濤。
走了三里多路，我們便來到了雞公山的腳下，放眼觀望，滿山遍野都是古松樹，有的亭亭玉立、有的直插雲霄，千姿百態，綠綠蔥蔥的。我們走在通向山峰的小路，山峰上是無數塊奇形怪狀的石頭，有的石頭縫里還長出了幾棵小樹，遠遠望去，滿山蒼翠。
我們來到了山頂，朝南觀望，南邊有一條彎彎的美麗的沱江，雞公山就依偎在它身邊。沱江水真綠、真清，藍天白雲倒影在水中，你不經意的話，會讓你分不清，哪是天空哪是江水。爸爸對我說：「在江中劃來劃去的魚船，是勤勞的漁民在江水中打魚」。它們看起來就像小鴨子似的，在水中游來游去高興極了！
