I went to Beijing this summer vacation, the first day of our visit to the Great Wall the next day we went to visit the Forbidden City and Summer Palace, in Beijing to play in, we also took some photos, I think this trip is very interesting, because Beijing is a clean and beautiful city, but Beijing has been hot.

If Sydney is crowned as New York of South Pacific Ocean, then, Melbourne can be said as London here.

This is an ancient city, and meanwhile a beautiful ‘garden city’, streets are orderly paved like chessboard, various buildings of both ancient and modern styles are harmoniously blended, there are quite a few operas and Broadway musicals on show here everyday.

This is also Australia’s residential center for immigrants. Most of the immigrants who flocked into Australia live in Melbourne and Sydney. Immigrants started their new life here but keep their own traditions and customs. Wanna taste Italian food and drinks? Just go to Lygon street. Wanna know Chinese culture? Then visit China Town. In China Town, there are not only Chinese restaurants, but also Malaysian, Thailand and Japanese restaurants, so this is not just a window for you to get to know Chinese people, but a best place to know East Asian people and South East Asian people as well.

Goods sold in China Town are quite unique. You’ll embrace a variety of choices and also reasonable prices, that’s why China Town is so popular among tourists. My companions all came back with large and small shopping bags, and reluctant to leave until they bought too much to carry.

What worth mention, traveling in Melbourne, the most forgettable experience is to watch the homing of the smallest penguins in the world. In a place 140 kilometers south of Melbourne, there’s a tiny island called Philip. Every sk, groups of penguins stagger back to their home. Their teeter when stepping onto the bank is extremely lovely.

Bali Holiday

Stunning white sandy beach, exotic island, bubbling springs, lobster feast, hot sunshine, elegant plumerias etc. And welcome to Bali Island, Indonesia. The five-day tour of Bali which I made last summer has undoubtedly left a deep impression on me. Whenever I think about that perfect journey, a picture of my idling along the Kuta beach with the gentle and fresh sea breeze touching my cheeks comes up to me. All those days in Bali let me totally stretch my body and have a cool and cozy vocation.

Of course I went drifting and visiting their temples and listening to their weird Indian accent just as anybody else did. My tour, however, was a little bit different since I didn’t follow a tour guide with 10 visitors or even more in a stuffy touring bus ( I luckily got a go and return plane ticket for free and went their without a touring group), I had more time of my own. I spent my time strolling in the streets and looking for Indonesian snacks and fruit, and I did find a lot of tasty food and drinks. I discovered jackfruit which was so scrumptious and juicy that I ate a decade of them in the following days but unfortunately it indirectly led to my stomachache, but everything was worth it.

I tried to talk with different kinds of people from taxi drivers to restaurant waiters and found out that Indonesians were actually very very hospitable and helpful. From the talk, I started to learn some of their interesting traditions like it is considered a taboo to give people things by using your left hand. Finally, according to the map they drew for me, I had a great time shopping and buying lovely souvenirs, little buttons made of coconut shell, hair decorations of plumerias, a popular white or pink tropical blossom which you put behind your ear and their symbolic essential oils because the SPA there is really noted.

This journey is definitely different from many others that I have had experienced ——it is flawless and most importantly, a real holiday. Living in Bali is living in a dream.

Last week Saturday, a friend of mine Tom and his elder brother Richard and I had a fishing trip on the beautiful lakes of the Da Ming Lake District.
We catch and release variety of fish, like carps, and Grass Carps，and silver carps.
Tom's brother knows which waters are fishing well, and he has the skill and expertise to help Tom and me.
At the end of the day, we caught 2 carps, 1 Silver carp, and one grass carp.
But we released them all into the lake, because I would like them living for much longer.

I definately enjoyed the fishing trip. I will go back there next month.
